About Jen
Hi, I’m Jen — a mom of four boys and the heart behind Mat
& Spring. Life has been chaotic and nonstop for years. But
when my two oldest went to college, I finally had the space
to ask: what’s next for me?
That question led me not just to Pilates, but to teaching it
— bringing mindful, classical movement to people
wherever they are. Over time, Pilates has strengthened my
body, cleared my mind, and grounded my spirit.
As a mom to athletes — a runner, a rower, and swimmers
— I’ve seen firsthand how Pilates supports performance,
recovery, and longevity. But it’s not just for athletes. It’s for
anyone ready to feel stronger, more connected, and more
present in their own body.
Mat & Spring is my fresh start — a space to move with purpose, reconnect, and be reminded: it’s never too late to begin a new chapter.

Mat & Spring is a Long Island Pilates company based in Smithtown, NY. We specialize in classical Pilates instruction, including private sessions, small-group classes, and duet training. Our team also provides pop-up classes at beaches, parks and studios across Long Island.
Having a special event? Whether company team building at the office, or a birthday celebration at home, we’ll bring intentional movement and a memorable experience wherever you are.
For Pilates studio owners or at-home practioners, we also offer fully insured Pilates equipment care and maintenance. Our service and attention to detail
will ensure that your apparatus operates safely and smoothly.
